I love this expression on Sam’s face. He’s developed a very serious intense face, which usually appears when he’s trying to figure out how to do something Nathan is doing. For example, in this picture he’s working making “vroom vroom” noises while pushing the car. He’s also investigating the properties of Mack the race car carrier, with a focus on what items will fit into Mack.
Sam is becoming much more affectionate, which is saying something. He’s been giving Jon very sweet leg hugs at bedtime and when he gets home. But mostly, the person he wants to hug is Nathan. They’ve developed a game where Nathan runs around the room giggling madly while Sam chases after him shrieking with toddler glee. There’s only one slight problem, which is that when Sam catches him he’s likely to either smack him as hard as he can (not very hard), or bite him in an excess of enthusiasm and love. We are trying to break him of this habit, of course, although it’s a bit difficult since he’s always being so adorably cuddly when he chomps. Most of the time when he does this, Nathan just giggles madly, except when he’s busy being overly dramatic and yelling about it.
